Staying in Singapore is expensive.
There’s a lot of cultural attractions and world-class entertainment in this tiny country but the only free things here are those cute postcards found in malls and restaurants. And some ten other things like the ones I shall list here.
So how can a lakwatchero enjoy Singapore without the luxury of spending hundred dollars? Read on.
1. Visit the Integrated Resorts (IR).
At Resorts World Sentosa, one can walk around and take pictures of the Universal Studios Singapore (USS) globe just outside the USS theme park, see the Merlion upclose and the fantastic fountains. This IR is connected to the mainland via 3 ways: cable cars, sky train, and boardwalk (boardwalk entrance to RW is $1). The walk is sugary romantic as it offers a great view of the fantasy world that is Sentosa, the harbour front, and Singapore skyline.
This is really cool. cool. cool. I hope this blog stays till I go to Singapore after graduation (I’m only in 3rd year, made me think of going there sooner…)
