After the French film festival, Fête de la Musique

After the free French Film Festival last week (Jay and I watched Rust and Bone starring Marion Cotillard), Aliance Francais is bringing us another most-awaited free event in Manila, Fête de la Musique 2013, featuring over 100 bands to play over 10 hours.

Fête de la Musique is not all French. In fact, it also celebrates the richness and diversity of the Filipino music scene.
From 4PM to 2AM, over 100 local acts will rock out at both the Fête main stage and the 10 pocket stages. The main stage will feature Razorback, Up Dharma Down, Barbie Almalbis, Kitchie Nadal, SinoSikat, Noli Aurillo, Bayang Barrios Lady-I, Yolanda Moon Hidden Nikki and surprise guests, just to name a few.

Independently organized pocket stages, all free of cover charge as well, will be located in nearby establishments for people to freely jump from one venue to another.
