As part of the worldwide Global Game Jam, students, professional and hobbyist game developers will create games in just 48 hours, with the top games being awarded honors and special prizes.

Last year, more than 150 participants formed teams that produced more than 30 games.

This year, IGDA Manila partners with iAcademy in Makati, bringing Global Game Jam to more locations in the Philippines.

iAcademy is the perfect location for a game jam. Located along Ayala Avenue, it is easily accessible via public transportation.

iAcademy will also be providing facilities and top-of-the-line hardware to game jam participants, making sure attendees will be able to focus on making the best game possible.

Another first for this year that we will be giving out awards for the top games across all 3 Philippine Global Game Jam locations. Once the game jam concludes, all games will be accessible at http://globalgamejam.org.
